The Chapelkill Book Wall. After its largely successful trial last year the Chapelkill Book Wall returns to the library car park next week. Standing at almost 25 feet in height the wall, made entirely from paperback fiction, poses a challenge to both novice and experienced climbers alike.
The quickest timed ascent and descent will win a signed first edition paperback of Timothy Lea’s Confessions of a Driving Instructor, the genre busting erotic tour de force widely believed to be the inspiration for EL James’s Fifty Shades trilogy.
(It is hoped that of those injured in last year’s event, four will regain some feeling in their legs.)
